Luke McConville

Born in Perth, Western Australia, I have an infectious passion for all things aviation, especially as a wannabe airline pilot. I am also a firm believer in the continuous learning cycle and the value of mentoring, especially with young people. I put two and two together at the start of 2012 as a member of the Australian Air Force Cadets, the nation’s largest aviation-oriented youth organisation, firstly pursuing my own development to the highest cadet rank in a critical unit-scale training-management position as a teenager, and now extending these skills as an instructor of cadets. Duncan introduced me to the great things happening here at P2S RUGBYWORKS and having the shared vision for change, I was convinced. When I am not in the office, you will find me either in the air completing my flying training and working towards a Bachelor of Aviation degree at Edith Cowan University, or on the ground working in a variety of event operations roles at a number of our best sport and entertainment venues. I am excited, and maybe a little daunted with the lengths of experience, to bring my rather youthful perspective to the team in ensuring the most well-considered solutions for our programs, as well as uphold the strong ethics my mentors continue to expect from me, and whom I have great respect for.
