Employability Manager – PETER GRANT

Introducing our new Employability Manager – PETER GRANT

P2S RUGBYWORKS has achieved one of our aspirations to help our youngsters to identify and achieve theirs!

Christmas came early for P2S RUGBYWORKS Inc. – it arrived on 1st October 2019 in the shape of ex-Springbok and Western Force fly-half Peter Grant.

After a determined pursuit by CEO & Founder; Fraser Griggs, Peter has joined the volunteers at P2S RUGBYWORKS in the role of Employability Manager.

Fraser said: “The role of Employability Manager is to manage and deliver the vital employability element of our program. Peter will work with our Community Engagement Lead, Teleisia Tatafu; to identify, build and manage key relationships with businesses to develop a robust and sustainable offering to the youngsters enrolled in RUGBYWORKS to introduce them to the world of work. I’m delighted to have such a high-profile role model like Peter onboard, his interest in our work and his desire to help out the ‘at-risk’ youth of WA really shone through in our discussions and I’m so pleased he’s agreed to join us”

Peter said: “I’m very excited to be a part of P2SRW. Our love for rugby has drawn us together and I love how they are using the game to make an impact in young people’s lives. I’m passionate about helping people and making a difference and I think I’m in the right place to do just that. I look forward to building new friendships and lasting relationships with our partners and together we can help shape the futures of these youngsters”
